Ed Fowler: Director of Quality Assurance

Ed started with Hi-Tech Software in February of 1999. He brought with him 20 years of experience with computers, including Retail Sales Management, Technical Support, and Office Management with responsibility for AP, GL, PR and Billing for a 60+ employee, $25 million a year company.

Ed has considerable knowledge of both hardware and software applications, and he spent his first five years at Hi-Tech in Client Support. He is now the Director of Quality Assurance and is responsible for testing programs for release in our updates.

Ed has a Bachelor’s Degree in Resource Economics and an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Maine at Orono.

Ed lives in Oakland with his wife and daughter. He spends most weekends at his summer home in Penobscot, ME. In his time away from Hi-Tech, he enjoys many outdoor activities including lobster fishing, for which he holds a commercial lobster fishing license.
