Case Mix Reporting

Hi-Tech Software Solutions has developed Residential Care Assessment (RCA) instruments required in certain states. For example, the State of Maine requires the MDS-RCA, which is similar to the MDS 3.0 required in skilled care environments. RCA responses are used to calculate a Case Mix Score that will be used for Medicaid reimbursement.

RCA Case Mix Reporting can provide the following:

• Calculate and display the Medicaid case mix score each time you update and record  a resident's RCA responses.
• Include the case mix score on the printed RCA record.
• List each resident's case mix score and the facility average.
• Print a Case Mix Worksheet so you can:
  • Review the responses used to calculate the resident's case mix score.
  • Gather responses for incoming residents so you can preview a case mix score.
