EMR Libraries
To build your residents’ Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), you can select many pre-defined responses from libraries that come with the System or that you create for your resident population.
Libraries allow you to:
- Record EMR information in a format required by government agencies.
- Record information in familiar words that your staff will understand.
- Select and edit frequently-used responses rather than continually re-describe events and conditions that tend to recur.
- Standardize responses for easier sorting and statistical and management reporting.
Hi-Tech provides the following libraries:
- Annual updates to the Center for Disease Control ICD9 Diagnosis library
- National Drug Codes (NDC) for creating medication orders
- Medication Classifications for Quality Assurance reporting
- The Care Plan Problem, Goal and Approach developed with assistance from our client facilities
- Frequency Codes for med orders and flow sheet activities
- Risk Assessment templates
Your facility can edit the above libraries and build the following:
- Physicians
- Insurance providers
- Statistics items
- Hospitals and Mortuaries
- Allergies
- Routine and Standing Physician orders
- Medication and Treatment Administration forms for different requirements
- Flow Sheet items
- Activities attended by residents
- Events, such as falls, or illness like H1N1
- Calendar items such as appointments, labs, order renewals, etc.
- Inoculations
