EMR Libraries

To build your residents’ Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), you can select many pre-defined responses from libraries that come with the System or that you create for your resident population.

Libraries allow you to:

  • Record EMR information in a format required by government agencies.
  • Record information in familiar words that your staff will understand.
  • Select and edit frequently-used responses rather than continually re-describe events and conditions that tend to recur.
  • Standardize responses for easier sorting and statistical and management reporting.

Hi-Tech provides the following libraries:

  • Annual updates to the Center for Disease Control ICD9 Diagnosis library
  • National Drug Codes (NDC) for creating medication orders
  • Medication Classifications for Quality Assurance reporting
  • The Care Plan Problem, Goal and Approach developed with assistance from our client facilities
  • Frequency Codes for med orders and flow sheet activities
  • Risk Assessment templates

Your facility can edit the above libraries and build the following:

  • Physicians
  • Insurance providers
  • Statistics items
  • Hospitals and Mortuaries
  • Allergies
  • Routine and Standing Physician orders
  • Medication and Treatment Administration forms for different requirements
  • Flow Sheet items
  • Activities attended by residents
  • Events, such as falls, or illness like H1N1
  • Calendar items such as appointments, labs, order renewals, etc.
  • Inoculations
  • Notes text and templates
