General Ledger

The General Ledger integrates with other Hi-Tech Software long term care financial and accounting applications:

  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable

The General Ledger features the following:

  • 12-character, alphanumeric account numbers
  • Account activity maintained for 12 months or 13 accounting periods
  • Budgeting with historical comparisons
  • Consolidation of accounts into company, division and department levels
    with the ability to “drill down” level by level to reach specific journal entries
  • Instant YTD inquiry into any GL account and detail transactions
  • Standard Financial Statements
  • HUD specialized reports
  • Report Writer that allows you to customize statements and reports and create new reports 

Condensed General Ledger

  • A Central office can maintain the full General Ledger and produce financial statements for multiple facilities.
  • Individual facilities in a the group use the Condensed GL to create the journal entries from activity recorded through Resident Accounting, Accounts Payable and/or Payroll.

    Each facility transfers their journal entry file to the Central Office for posting.
