Family and Medical Leave
The federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year. Record and access the following details for employees who use this benefit:
- For Leave Requests, record the Date of Application, Reason, Start and End dates. The employee’s Scheduled Hours will be used to calculate available Leave Hours.
- Enter additional notes that describe the leave.
- Provide a Follow-up Date for reviewing the FML record.
- Record the number of hours used towards the 12 weeks of FML.
