Pay Differentials
The Payroll System handles different rates of pay for different types of work and the different times that an employee works.
Assign Differential rates to:
- Type of pay: overtime, vacation, sick time, etc.
- Per diem vs. regular employees
- Shift, weekend or holiday hours worked
- Department worked
- Level of responsibility
- Resident’s skill level, as a flat rate or as a percentage of a base rate
The System allows you to:
- Apply a differential to overtime pay using overtime average +.5 or x 1.5.
- Enter differential codes as you record worked hours and view amount of pay.
- Assign differential pay to the department worked and expense the pay to that department.
