Pay Types
- Define up to 10 Hour Type Earnings, such as Regular, Overtime, EBT, and Sick Time. Indicate if:
- Benefits should accrue for hours worked
- Pay should be included in calculation of OT average rate
- Hours should be included in lifetime hours worked
- Pay is exempt from Maine State Retirement
- The balance of benefit hours accrued should be decreased when this pay type is paid
- Pay type should be skipped when doing benefit accrual calculations
- Define up to 20 Other Pay types, such as On Call, Commission, Shift Differential, Weekend, Bonus, Third-Party Insurance, and Flex Pay. Indicate if:
- Pay is taxable for Federal, FICA, State, Local, FUTA and SUTA
- Pay should be included in overtime average
- Pay is exempt from Maine State Retirement
- Code each pay type to a General Ledger Account, including accounts for Benefit Time earned and paid.
- On time cards, record hours worked by pay type. Identify department where each type of pay is earned, and compile pay type amounts per department.
- View each resident’s YTD totals per pay type.
- Report by type of pay.
