Create libraries of trust accounting items unique to your facility:

  • Deposit and withdrawal items that you will track for your residents
  • Vendors who will receive checks to pay residents’ expenses

Record the following:

  • Beginning Trust Balances
  • Savings and Trust Checking Balance Forwards
  • Cash and other deposits that you define
  • Cash and miscellaneous withdrawals
  • Recurring charges
  • Savings account interest
  • Checking service charges

Use Trust Checking to:

  • Write checks to pay a resident’s expenses.
  • Include multiple residents’ expenses on the same check to a single vendor.
  • Automatically update residents’ trust accounts with check transactions.
  • Track outstanding checks and reconcile the checks with the bank.

Automatically transfer funds from the Patient Liability payment recorded in Resident Accounting.
