Marti McFadden: Documentation Writer

Marti came to Hi-Tech in February of 1989. She has worked in the computer industry since 1980, writing and teaching about the use of computers.

At HTS Marti has written the Users' Instructions Manuals for most of the HTS applications. She helps to test programs; create marketing materials; edit the newsletter; and keep the website up to date.

Marti graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1977 with a BA in American Studies. She has continued her education in both art and computer technology, and how to blend the two through digital imaging.

Marti likes to read, take long walks, and do yoga. She sings in the choir at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Skowhegan, and she ushers at the Lakewood Theater where she made her acting debut in the summer of 2004.

Marti lives in Skowhegan with her husband. She has grown accustomed to being an “empty nester” since her two daughters went away to college in the midwest.
